Hello cellites! Reading Ben's testimony reminds me of God's provision which occurred even just last Sunday!
After the 11am service (which was REALLY good and really spoke to me about Resting in God--more on that another time), Zhen and i went to West Mall for lunch and we decided to take a walk around. Just the previous day, we were in town and i saw this really gorgeous blouse from G2000 but it was waaay too ex for me--S$59.00 for that blouse.
So i was trying to distract myself from thinking about that blouse but still, eventually we walked into G2000. =p
We decided to each buy one (because there's a promotion and the second blouse would cost only half price). meaning it'd be approximately $60+$30=$90 (bear with me, maths never was and still isn't my best subject), so each of us would have to fork out $45.
Then as we were waiting in queue at the cashier, this old lady started asking us about the price of our blouses and all, and it turned out that her daughter has this 50% discount voucher that applies to all merchandise in G2000, and so they very kindly offered to pay for everything under the same bill so that our blouses will be half-priced too..! And we don't even know them...! =)
and yea, if you do your maths, it's only $30 for each blouse which was originally almost $60! That's like God just gave us one free blouse....!
=D
Now you know how hard i prayed for that blouse =p.
