Hello wonderful cellies of Kent Ridge People!
Just wanted to drop a quick and hopefully brief note to thank and affirm that our cell is really growing and well maybe do a stock check of our cell, when we're into our 10th month together as a cell! :D O ya and sorry for the delayed post... Just finished up my econs and el test... :P
Well... There maybe some *spoilers* in stall... so beware...
Anyway i've been seeing our cell grow and truly i give God the glory for our growth for it really is not by our own strength that we have done it but truly, as mentioned in 1 Cor 3:6 "I have planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase."
Also i believe that each one of you there for cell on tues has truly caught the cell vision and more importantly, you have also understood the values of our church!
Passionate Honor!
The fact that so many of you have chosen to come for cell week after week, has really demonstrated that you do not just want to honor your friends there, or for this week to celebrate ppl's birthdays but importantly, you want to HONOR GOD PASSIONATELY! :D
Audacious Fervour!
I believe that many of us have shared our dreams and visions and hopes, whether big or small, it has really reflected our desires and the fact that we dare to pronounce it out loud, it certainly means that we have enough that our God would be able to fulfill them Amen? :D PS Ben, you wanted a ferrari is it? :P
Contagious Faith!
To me, this cell has demonstrated CONTAGIOUS FAITH! The fact, that we have so many newbies join us and feel welcome is not just thanks to great cell unity but more so, thanks to different ones whose faith has shined well for God. Indeed, great fun, love and friendship may be the gel of this cell, but it is the contagious faith that rubs off each other and more importantly brings others into the cell! :D
And lastly! Relentless Belief!
I still believe strongly that even though we have come quite a distance, i still believe that God has a bigger plan for each and every single one of us... And i still BELIEVE that God will fulfill YOUR DESTINY IF you continue to hold on to God and let Him be the guide. Maybe for this, i would like to share something personally...
I've come to appreciate this value in a personal way because someone chose to believe in me, when the odds were stacked up against me. During my army stint, i would not dare say that i was the best sergeant ard, and several times, i had my abilities tested by my men. There was even once, when something drastic happened that made me feel lousy about myself. At that point of time, i lost self-believe and wanted to just throw in the towel. Yet, my superior came along and told me this. "You have been given a rank, because the authorities in the Army believe in you! So when you feel lost, remember, that someone still believes in you and for me? I believe that you are more than capable of completing your task!" With that mind, i picked up my self-believe and have never looked back, and hence, the phrase, "BRING IT ON!" :D
Isn't God just like that? A father who believes in each one of us, enough to give us the His authority? John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to become the children of God, to those who believe on His name," and Luk 10:19 "Behold, I give to you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the authority of the enemy. And nothing shall by any means hurt you." So always remember in the seasons when one is down and you don't think much of yourself, remember your Heavenly Daddy believes in you and your destiny more than you can imagine!!! :D
Yep, so there ive spoilt your last lesson on the Trinity Experience, but nonetheless, do come and soak in the atmosphere of God during cell and bring your friends along to join us! Until sat, I'll see you all soon.. PS, there will be important announcements that you will hear for this coming tues cell. So do be there alright? :D. Take care now!
Ivan
