Hey ppl...
Decided to blog this here as a reminder to all of us... It's basically what i said just now during prayer.
But before that, i just want to thank you all as a prayer IC, that for the past 10 days, i know that i've not prayed in vain or for that matter, ive not being the only one praying. For those whom i left you out of the prayer chain, im very very very sorry, Kim and Phebe! :( Don't worry ive updated my sms list so that you'll get the info ya? :D
Anyway, even as we congratulate one another for a job well done and thank God for His faithfulness and blessings, stopping the rain, bringing all our oikos safely and above all, making Ben's place truly his place of worship for those hours, to me. It's reflects that God hears our prayers and answers our every needs! Amen? :D
Moving on, i shared this afternoon on John 3:17-21
Joh 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him.
Joh 3:18 He who believes on Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.
Joh 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were evil.
Joh 3:20 For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, lest his deeds should be exposed.
Joh 3:21 But he who practices truth comes to the Light so that his works may be revealed, that they exist, having been worked in God.
This few verses follow a verse which all of us know by heart. John 3:16
Yet, the solemness and seriousness of these verses spell out very clearly the judgement which awaits all of us, including our oikos. We know that we are saved and have already accepted Christ, that should anything befall us, we know that we can stand before God's judgement throne and are not condemned according to v17.
How about our friends? Oikos? Our loved ones who have yet to know Christ? We know that should anything happen, they would be turned away at the gates of heaven, which is a very sad but true situation. It's something that none of us would like to ever come to. And so, i do pray that even as we continue to build on what has been started today, let's continue to can reach our oikos Amen? and not just reach, but touch, love, serve and care for them. Let's be Christ's love wrapped in skin to them alright? :D
For those who did not have any oikos today like me! Let's not give up. Remember that friends do not get saved only in events like this, but at any time and any place, as long as we adopt the faithful servant's heart I believe that God will use each and every one of us Amen? :)
And i believe that this coming weekend's svc is going to be an impt event, if we down tools now to celebrate our 'victory' then i believe that we would leave a very wrong impression on our friends, the impression we are going to leave with them is the mentality, "It WAS a great party... God's presence, i.e that warm, unexplainable, cozy, fuzzy feeling was GREAT! BUT I'll look forward to the NEXT party NEXT year end" But let's continue to follow up and show them that God's presence is not just limited to such parties, but to EVERY SINGLE SERVICE, EVERY SINGLE CELL, EVERY SINGLE EVENT where God is invited to be part of! Amen?
Can't wait to see all of you again! Love you guys and gals! (Hope steph dosent see this! If she does, then stephie, im loving them with the love of Christ! :P)
