Hey cellites!!
pictures taken on WatchNight are here:
http://picasaweb.google.com/grayskymorning/NewYear2007
and from now on we shall have a regular food review column in our blog to determine where's a good spot to have meals at the area near Trinity@PL!
and on WatchNight we went to:

Based on what the Columnist Miss Foodie found out, the rating for the dinner at this tiny alfresco dining Zi-char stall tucked nicely in a corner near (but not at, i think) Balaam Road goes as follows:
Service: 2 out of 5 marshmallows. (this is debatable. some really appreciated one of the uncle's quirky sense of humour while others believe that the service was way too slow--we were seated for a good 10 mins before the menu came to us... and that was just before we decided to do a kallang wave to attract their attention. Maybe they're not so used to half a thousand Trinitarians flooding the estate all at once...)
Food: 2.5 out of 5 marshmallows. (Edible, may be able to finish the food if you're starving. No major dissatisfactions but it's simply food that you won't be likely to be yearning for in the middle of the night. Claypot Noodles recommended by Enlin.)
Ambience: 3.5 out of 5 marshmallows. (Surprisingly the ambience was good--it was a windy night with a cool evening breeze, and the air was clear and fresh... Just don't sit too far out into the narrow aisles in case the waitors lose their balance.)

Till next time! =)
enjoy the last few hundred hours of the holidays!
love,
sharon
